Use the enquiry form
The enquiry form is the best way to reach us, especially if you need help with a handheld unit, CNC table, or a breakdown on site. Add a clear subject, your company or workshop name, and a short note on what is going on with the machine so we can route it to the right person first time.
Please include the machine type, approximate age, the fault or cutting issue, and whether you need repairs, a service, spares, or operator training. If the unit is in a busy production area or on a job site, mention access details and any urgency. A few good details save time and avoid back-and-forth.
What to include so we can help properly
When you send an enquiry, the more practical detail you share the better. This is especially useful for plasma systems running in fabrication shops, motor body repair bays, agricultural workshops, or sites with unstable power and compressed air problems.
- Machine make and model if you have it, plus the cutting thickness you work with
- Type of work, such as plate cutting, repair work, profiles, or production runs
- Fault description, for example arc starting issues, poor cut edges, torch wear, or height control errors
- Location, town, and whether you need workshop collection or an on site visit
- Any recent changes such as new consumables, air line work, or power interruptions
Where PlasmaCutter works from and the Gauteng and Free State areas we reach
Our Vereeniging base supports customers across Gauteng and the Free State, with demos and servicing arranged in nearby industrial and farming areas. We regularly assist clients in Vereeniging, Vanderbijlpark, Sasolburg, Meyerton, Alberton, Germiston, Bloemfontein, and Welkom.
If you are outside those towns, send your location anyway. We often plan field visits in batches, so we can sometimes combine service calls and keep travel costs down. For coastal or dusty environments, let us know too because humidity and fine grit can affect torch wear and air quality quicker than expected.
What affects callout support
Most enquiries are reviewed during normal business hours, and urgent breakdowns are handled as quickly as the schedule allows. Simple queries can be handled directly, while technical jobs may need a short assessment before we confirm the next step.
- General product and sales enquiries: assessed and handled according to the information provided
- Service, repairs, and commissioning requests: after a quick triage and booking slot check
- Breakdowns and field calls: prioritised by location, machine downtime, and parts needed
- Demos and training: arranged in advance so the right technician and machine are available
Support for repairs, servicing, and training
Our team handles torch repairs, power source repairs, preventive maintenance, consumables checks, air system inspection, CNC table servicing, height control calibration, on site breakdowns, machine commissioning, operator training, spares supply, and cut quality audits. If you are unsure which service fits your problem, just describe the symptoms and we will guide you.
Marius van der Merwe leads the business, with support from Kgomotso Mhlongo, Johan Botha, Phenyo Diale, Ruan Visser, and Naledi Selebalo. That means your enquiry is handled by people who work with plasma cutting every day, not a generic call process. Small machines and high volume production lines both get proper attention, even if the fault seems minor at first.
Planning a demo or a site visit
If you want to see a machine in action before you buy, request a demo through the form and tell us what material you cut, the thickness range, and the finish you expect. We can plan sessions for hobby users, workshops, and production teams, and we can also assist with operator training after commissioning.
For site visits, please mention the work area, power supply setup, compressed air source, and any municipal or site access rules. That helps us arrive prepared with the right parts and tools, so the visit is practical and not just a quick look round.
