Book a Service

Arrange servicing, repairs or a machine health check with our technical team in Vereeniging. We support clients across Gauteng and the Free State with clear booking steps, practical advice and on site help where needed.

Start Your Service Request Through the Enquiry Form

Use the enquiry form on our contact page to request a service. Tell us what machine you have, the fault you are seeing, where you are based, and whether you need workshop support or an on site visit. From there we will suggest the right kind of service.

We handle requests from Vereeniging, Vanderbijlpark, Sasolburg, Meyerton, Alberton, Germiston, Bloemfontein and Welkom. If your machine is down during production or you need a quick machine health check before a busy run, mention that in the form so we can plan accordingly.

  • Machine type and model details
  • Fault symptoms or error messages
  • Location and access requirements
  • Preferred service date if you have one

What Our Technical Team Can Assist With

Our support covers both handheld and CNC plasma cutting equipment. We work on torch faults, poor cut quality, unstable arc starts, worn consumables, air supply issues, height control problems and general machine wear. If your unit has been tripping, cutting unevenly or struggling with pierce consistency, we can inspect the full cutting system and advise on the next step.

For CNC tables, we also look at table condition, drive performance, height control calibration and the parts that affect repeat accuracy. In many cases a proper inspection can save a larger repair later on, especially if the machine has had power interruptions from load-shedding or dusty shop conditions.

How to Prepare Before We Visit Or Collect

Before a service appointment, switch the machine off safely, clear the area around the unit and make sure the air line and power supply are easy to reach. If there are any alarms, unusual noises or failed cuts, note them down. A few photos or a short video can help our team see the issue before they arrive. It also helps when the machine is running in a factory where access is tight or shifts are already underway.

Please let us know if the site has its own safety rules, induction process or restricted hours. In some industrial areas around Gauteng and the Free State, access control can slow things down if it is not arranged in advance. If the machine is in a coastal-humidity sensitive area or a dusty fabrication bay, mention that too so we can check for corrosion, moisture and air quality concerns.

What Happens During The Service Visit

Once your booking is confirmed, our technical team will assess the machine, test the key components and identify the cause of the fault or performance issue. Depending on the job, we may carry out repairs on site, recommend workshop work, or schedule parts replacement and follow-up testing. We keep the process practical and explain what we find in plain language, so you know what is urgent and what can wait.

If the machine is still operational, we can also do a cut quality audit and set a baseline for future comparisons. That is useful when a line operator says the cuts are drifting but the machine is still running. A small adjustment now can prevent wasted plate, extra grinding and unplanned downtime later.

  • Initial inspection and fault finding
  • Functional testing and safety checks
  • Repair or calibration work where possible
  • Report back with findings and next steps

Training, Commissioning And Ongoing Support

If you have just installed a new system, added a table or changed operators, we can help with machine commissioning and operator training. Good setup at the start makes a big difference to cut finish, consumable life and day to day reliability. It also reduces avoidable faults caused by incorrect settings or poor air supply.

We work with small workshops, fabrication shops and production sites that need steady support after the installation is complete. Our training is practical and job focused, so your team can get back to work quickly with the right settings and a better understanding of basic maintenance. Marius van der Merwe and the technical team are available to guide clients through the process, from first setup to routine service intervals.

Service Areas, Turnaround And Follow Up

We are based in Vereeniging and support clients across the surrounding industrial areas, including Vanderbijlpark, Sasolburg, Meyerton, Alberton, Germiston, Bloemfontein and Welkom. Some faults can be resolved during the first visit, while others need a more detailed repair plan. If a part has to be ordered, we will tell you what is needed and how it affects turnaround time.

Our aim is to keep your cutting equipment working with as little interruption as possible. Preventive maintenance, regular consumables checks and air system inspection can reduce repeat breakdowns and help your machine cut cleaner for longer. If your site runs on tight production schedules, ask us about planned service intervals so you can fit maintenance around shifts instead of losing a day unexpectedly.
